"James Hart may or may not be a good psychiatrist. I saw him twice and was unimpressed. However, he has no control whatsoever of the staff where he has a clinical office setting abusing patients in any way they see fit. He stated that unequivocally. The staff belongs to the psychiatrist he rents office space from and he does not have the authority to reprimand them. To me it seems he has sacrificed the ability to protect his patients in the setting where he treats them. The front desk receptionist was yelling at me and, not surprisingly, this upset me greatly. I sat and quietly cried the entire 45 minutes I waited for my appointment. I did nothing wrong. I had a headache and I did ask the receptionist to not talk so loud. She refused, stating that she just talks loud and that is just who she is. Seriously? Once I was in the office with James Hart, he asked if I needed any medications refilled and once he addressed that, he stated I would not be given another appointment. He gave me 30 days of continued care and 60 days of medication. The industry standard is 90 days of each when the psychiatrist terminates the relationship regardless of the circumstances. This should be especially attended to in Alabama, the state which ranks number 50 for mental health services of all kinds, so finding a quality psychiatrist is very difficult. I would prefer to give Dr. Hart zero stars, but one is required to post. Don't get me wrong. I am not the slightest bit angry. It hurts me deeply as an individual who has to rely on psychiatric services based on the luck of my genetic draw that I have to enter a setting where I have to take emotional abuse with no expectation of protection."

"Dr. Hart is a great psychiatrist. He is caring and listens to others concerns. He is a champion in the mental health field. I have known Dr. Hart as a mentor for several years. As a nurse practitioner he teaches me something new everyday. I think that anybody with a sound mind would give him 5/5 stars."

"Does not care about his patients. I had a straight severe panic attack, because I can't control my anxiety in social settings, so i got really hot and dizzy in the waiting room and had to go outside to cool down and I threw up. When I went in he asked me a couple basic questions as I try to explain my embarrassing anxiety and the panic attacks. Effecting my abilities to socialize and focus and function, without feeling awkward or having a melt down or crying all day. I drove from Pensacola to see him because I recently moved within the 3 visits I've had with him and j thought I had liked him until today. I have ADHD since I was little and I'm in fulltime college for my BA in cognitive studies I NEED HELP FOCUSING. AND I NEED HELP WITH MY ANXIETY SO I CAN SOCIALIZE AND BE EFFICIENT IN LIFE LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING. But because I'm 20 or whatever the assholes’ reason may be, he doesn't feel comfortable prescribing anything because the last medication didn't work. I appreciate paying you $40 for nothing. Won’t ever visit there again. And looking into making a claim for him profiling me."
