USA Health University Hospital: Emergency Dept

"Been waiting for 3 hours I ask cuz I am crying and in pain she rolled her eyes and said I haven't been a signed a doctor yet to set and wait"

"I am only giving this place 2 stars because of the nurse I had. The Dr, his name was Dr. Link he acted scared and nervous around me, he wouldn't listen to me when I told him how bad I was in pain. I was left in the room alone for close to 2 hrs, only for him to give me 4 pain pills (Hydrocodone) and 800 MG Ibuprofen. He totally brushed me off as a black woman. His nurse was absolutely amazing she tried to fight for me, but he brushed her off as well. I will not ever come to this hospital again. P. S I'm still in pain"

"I have been treated very well the last 2 times I had to go to USA. First time I was in for trauma cut 2 of my fingers off. Second time I had to stay at the burn unit. They took very good care of me and I have healed up just fine"

"When you go to the emergency room, the whole point is that there is something wrong with you for you to be going to the ER. This is the worse place you can go, if you expect anyone there to care, or treat you like a human being. I was treated abysmally by most of the nurses, except for two, Miss Ida, and Miss Anna, but the rest of those folks and doctors did not care about my pain, my problems, or anything else I was going through. I was just some person they couldn't care less about. I sat there for over four hours, but the time issue was not my problem. All I wanted to know was what was wrong with me. They did not care. And it wasn't just me, they treated several other people the same, except for those select few that actually got treatment. The doctor would never come and speak to anyone without being hunted down. If you have staffing issue's, fine, if you had folks in there that actually care about the patients, this would be a good ER, but your staff does not care about the people that come through that door, they don't do what they are paid to do, and I will recommend that everyone I know stays away from your ER until your ER staff treats people like a human being. This was a very bad experience, and I wish I would have gone to a different hospital, because yours is a waste of time."

"The ER staff was great. This is the first place I have been where I was discriminated against for being white. Was told by the lobby lady it was closed to wait outside. I just got discharged. While the lobby is filled with all black people coming in and out . That lady just walked in"
