"My mother has been coming to AL for 3 months every Winter since 1993. She loves visiting with her friends, playing cards and gambling. She has been a Type II diabetic for over 30 years and needs insulin shots before each meal. As the disease progressed it has caused mild cognitive impairment, so she can't remember whether or not she took her insulin shots. She is currently living in an assisted living facility where they manage her medications every day. Mike, Mich, and their team of caregivers were able to manage Mom's daily medications during her stay in Orange Beach this Winter. They also helped with meal preparation, and light cleaning. Home Instead allowed my Mom to be able to continue to visit Orange Beach and do the activities that she enjoys. Her friends were very impressed with all the caregivers that managed my Mom's care.
