"Excellent resource for bike enthusiasts in the area! I didn’t know what to do with several bikes left behind when our kids left home. This group took them to restore for people who couldn’t afford bikes. They were so helpful. What a great way to recycle and up-cycle bikes and bike parts. I’m so glad I found them!"
"I have to say this place is really nice the people are awesome and the charges very very reasonable also the fact that they help out the community is great but I took my wife’s bike in to get repaired I am not savvy at all with technical issues they worked on it but I had to take it to another shop because the issue wasn’t resolved. All I’d say is ride whatever you get fixed in the parking lot just to check. I would go back because I think they are really nice people."
"I just wanted to give this place the biggest shout out. In the last year my son has always told me there was a bike shop near by that is always giving him and his friends free items and helping them with their bikes. My son took my electric bike there today and they fixed my bike seat when he didn’t even have any money and of course I’m going to come in and pay them and give them a big thank you for being so kind to the kids in the community and doing a great job at what they do thank you so much I will be in soon! ❤️"
"We purchased 2 bikes from FB Marketplace that led us to this shop in Downtown St. Pete. A Huffy and a Schwinn cost around $100 each. Although the tires keep going flat so we carry an air pump everywhere, at least the frame is in good condition. The shop works with volunteers to help the community."
"Bought a used Giant for 300 bucks. Almost bought new wheels for it for around 250-300 bucks because mine were badly bent. Heard about this place from a friend and gave it a try. Totally blown away that a humble little place like this exists. Kaylen (misspelled?) was extremely helpful and though I came in 30 minutes before they closed, he was able to true my rear tire. I thought I was only going to have to spend 10 bucks but was so blown away by what these guys do, not just for regular people looking for a good deal, but for homeless people that own bikes as their primary form of transportation. I’ve been watching a new show on Netflix called New Amsterdam. They the main character on there is named Max, his philosophy seems to be to never turn anyone down for care no matter their Financial status… that is exactly how St. Pete Bike CO-OP is. They are volunteers, hence the 2 days a week during later hours. Anyways instead of paying just the 10 bucks, I decided to go with the membership for 60 bucks but loved the service so much and wanted to help out more, so I just gave them all the cash I had in my pocket which was just $83 bucks. Next time I go in though, I will keep donating money to them because I love what they do and I hope that anyone who reads this can learn these same things I learned about them today being my first time here. I am a captain and mate on the 50 foot corinthian power catamaran named Escape for St. Pete Coastal Cruises, if anyone wants to go on a very nice boat trip and meet me, come on aboard for an amazing trip and come see St. Pete like most locals never have! We do sunset/night trips to the Skyway bridge and take pictures outside of it and within it. The very best boat I’ve ever worked on and hands down the best trip I’ve ever captained. I usually work Friday and Sunday sunset/nights. Would be cool if someone comes out and mentions this review. Now take your bike to this shop and overpay for the service! Also, I donated a used bike that a friend from work gave me, so I’m sure a lot of those parts will help people in the future. Because you know damn well if you took your bike to Trek, you would pay too dollar for any services they perform!"
