"My original high rating was immediately dashed by United (can't maintain a schedule) airline. Worse weekend trip ever! With perfect weather their first flight was 40 minutes late leaving the gate but I didn't miss my connection since that departure was over 3 hours late and I got home just past midnight. On a sunny Sunday they repeated the 40-45 minutes late gate departure causing me to miss my next connection, pay out of pocket for a hotel, meals, taxi and added another 2 flights which made me hopelessly late for work that next day. No vouchers, 100% United at fault, and they kicked me down the road like an old can. Fly Delta!"
"Very nice experience. Even with all the Covid-19 restrictions, a very pleasant experience. The flight was on time and the crew was very accommodating. Good job guys!!"
"Connie at the United Airline baggage claim made my nervous morning turn into a great experience! Today is my first time flying with my service animal and Connie helped me breeze through the whole process. Thanks United!"
"Staff was rude and unhelpful. They closed the gate early and wouldn't let me on even though the plane door was still open and the walkway still attached. Made me take another flight with an extra connection and I ended up getting to my destination 9 hours later and was almost too tired to make it work the next day. Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because they gave me a $100 voucher after I wrote to customer service."
"During my flight from Portland (PDX) to Houston there was a small college sports team on the flight. They had a videographer with them that was recording their travel. During the flight, the videographer was allowed, by the stewardesses, to ignore seatbelt regulations, stand and walk and film the flight, and generally was given run of the plane. The videographer was very intrusive and reaching over passengers to video out the window. During our landing in Houston, the videographer was allowed by the stewardesses to not wear her seatbelt as to get better video out the windows of the landing. She was very rude, very intrusive and the fact that the stewardesses ignored FAA regulations to allow it to happen was disappointing at best. This was not a case of the videographer removing her seatbelt after the stewardess made her final inspection. The stewardess acknowledged that she was not wearing her seatbelt and walked on. During landing, the videographer almost fell out of her seat when the plane touched down. Would United then have been liable for the injury since the stewardess allowed the passenger to remain unbelted? Are the FAA regulations only guidelines that the stewardesses are allowed to circumvent at their discretion? Are aircraft safety regulations allowed to be knowingly ignored? It certainly does not instill confidence in your airlines!"
