"Free admission A nice start to learning the history of Pensacola and the rest of Florida. The lady at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking"
"It is an amazing place to learn history for kids and adults. It is a hidden gem and definitely a must visit place in pensecola. The displays tells you about the story of pensecola and the artifacts that were found in land and in the water around the place. Some of the interactive displays were interesting to indulge in."
"This museum needs more attention and visitors! I was the only visitor in a random Saturday morning I was there. It is free admission. It has interactive display and exhibit that highlights the history, museums, archaeological sites, or mounds all over Florida. They are actively recruiting volunteers to help sorting through pottery shards, bones, clothing pieces and etc from dig pile."
"Free little museum with friendly staff. My 12yo was working on a local history project and had a couple questions. They were happy to help answer his research inquires. You can volunteer to sort artifacts and help the university, too."
"The museum is not as big as the building looks, it's only in the bottom half. There were a lot of displays with plenty of information; mostly describing old battle ships and ship wrecks. Definitely educational and a must see for any historian."
