G Anthony Figueroa Md 1201 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

"Dr Figueroa had been my primary doctor for 28 years. He was my fathers doctor before he passed. He was my mothers brothers sister in laws daughter daughter in laws 2 friends and their spouses. Primary. Doctor. All of whom felt very confident in his care and concern for all of us. Dr Figueroa he USED to care a great deal about each of his patients. He always found enough time with everyone in my family to make sure we totally understood what his plan for treatment. He was at one time by far the best Doctor in all of Pinellas County All of a sudden that all changed.. he nailed all of his patience for 800 to 1200 dollar concierge fee then turned around without warning and resigned from his practice he is. now practicing in largo and absolutely will not see or speak with any of his former pts. I begged him not to put me on pain pills because many of my family members have addition problem. I am in severe pain but did no want to ever become reliant on pain meds. He said i would be fine on 10 mg of methadone he and only he prescribed to me. I only took 1 a day for 3 yrs. Guess what???? I had to go thru withdrawals. And no refills for my meds . thanks so much doc.."

"I was a patient of Md. Figueroa for a long time, called to make an appointment, upset that he is NO LONGER AT THIS OFFICE. I informed the person I needed a refill on my medicine, she assured me that it would be called in...she lied. I was then informed that the new MD doesn't have any openings until DECEMBER. UMMM NO BYE"

"He has been my family's Doctor for 23 years. His quality of care has helped me and my family get through all of our illness. I have found the staff to be a little slow but Doctor Figueroa's care is worth the wait. He takes his time with you and always makes me feel like I matter."

"Don't waste your time with this office. I like Doctor Fig but his office staff is horrible. They never answer the phone nor do they ever return a phone call. If you have prescriptions that need refilled, good luck! If they need preapproval from the doctor, forget about it! You better pray your script isn't a matter of life or death! You'll be pushing up daisies before you ever get it! My wife has been waiting on approval for blood pressure meds for over 3 weeks! The pharmacy has tried to numerous times, we have tried to call numerous times and nothing!!!! How the doctor isn't aware of what goes on there is beyond me!!! We're are officially moving to another office and doctor. I would advise you do the same!!!"

"His office staff will NOT answer the phone, nor will they call anyone back. Dr. Figueroa frequently writes prescriptions, but then will not call the insurance company for pre-authorization for those medications. He also will write prescriptions for MRIs, but does not take the time to call the insurance company for pre-authorizations. He has no problem handing out prescriptions for pain medications, that aren't needed, and does NOT listen to the patient. Every time I go he writes me a prescription for something, even after REPEATEDLY telling him that I DO NOT want any prescriptions for pain. He is a HORRIBLE physician and his office staff is just as bad, if not worse."
