"For the past three years, I have been a client of Boley Centers INC, specifically their FACT TEAM services. While I commend the Boley Housing Department, particularly the exceptional work of Miss Ingrid Brown, my experience with the FACT TEAM has been profoundly disappointing. The cornerstone of effective mental health and addiction recovery is comprehensive support. Unfortunately, the FACT TEAM’s approach falls drastically short of this standard. The brief, two to five-minute visits are inadequate to address the complexities of severe mental illness and addiction. Without regular, in-depth therapy sessions to delve into coping mechanisms, environmental stressors, and social challenges, it is impossible to achieve lasting stability. Furthermore, the absence of employment or educational support is a significant oversight. Individuals struggling with mental health and addiction often require assistance with these fundamental aspects of life. Placing the entire burden of navigating these challenges on clients is unrealistic and counterproductive. The FACT TEAM's staffing appears to have undergone a decline in experience compared to previous years. This lack of expertise is evident in the team's inability to provide the promised support. Meetings about addiction and mental health have yielded no tangible assistance, leaving me feeling abandoned and unsupported. In conclusion, while the Boley Housing Department, under the leadership of Miss Ingrid Brown, has been a beacon of hope, the FACT TEAM has consistently failed to deliver on its promises. To provide adequate care for individuals with severe mental illness and addiction, the FACT TEAM must significantly increase the frequency and duration of visits, implement comprehensive therapy services, and offer tangible support for employment and education. I urge Boley Centers to prioritize the well-being of its clients by investing in the FACT TEAM and ensuring that it meets the critical needs of those it serves."
"I have lived here for a long time. Theres temptation here just like there is anywhere else. I stay in my own lane and pretty much keep to myself and I've never really had any problems."
"I'm tired of Donna Mills and Chris giving away my funding to Laura B Lawson as known as Gypsy. Terminated her funding ASAP"
"There are two problems with the program First, the lessons. When I signed up, I was told they'd be classes for helping getting a job. They lied; the classes are fruity pseudoscience "wellness" classes. People that think wishing for things makes them actually happen. Second, the lady that runs the communal home portion treats us like dangerous criminals when most of us wouldn't hurt a fly. She confiscated a piece of thin wood because "it could be a weapon." When pointed out it wasn't sharp and asked how it was still a weapon so as to fix it, she acted like I shouldn't even be talking to her. Ladies and gentlemen, it was a small, thin piece of wood. Sturdy but thin. Maybe as strong as cardstock. It had no rough edges. It was meant to be an art piece, an Egyptian ivory wand. Care to tell me how that was more dangerous than, say, a sharpened pencil? But we're allowed those! I didn't even join because I was sent to jail. I was sent there from PEMS. I shouldn't even be in the home she runs. Literally no reason to steal my art except to flaunt her power over me. If she retaliates against me I'll update, but surely that's illegal, right? I'm simply posting an honest review. Which is more than all these 5 star ones can say."
