"Great beach to hit if your stay in Perdido is not gulf front. Book ahead and get there early. When the parking places are gone they close the gate. Beautiful beach and worth the 25 bucks for a weeks pass for 4."
"A treat to take in the gulf waves and the sugar sand. So quiet and peaceful. It wasn't very busy on the weekend I went."
"Beautiful way to connect with nature. There is either a daily pass or annual pass. Military and seniors get discounts as well. The park is totally worth visiting: dolphins, ghost crabs, seagulls, turtles, herons and more will greet you there."
"Requires an entrance fee but then you can also go to other parks. We liked it and went a few times while on vacation. They have bathrooms and an area to rinse off the sand before getting in your car to leave."
"It’s an amazing place, can’t say enough. You do need to pay $25 per vehicle which is valid for the entire week or $15 for pedestrians but I think it’s worth every penny. The money goes for conservation which is great. I went here for run everyday I was in the area for 7 days and it’s so refreshing. Mostly people just park the vehicle on roadside or in the parking run / walk on the road. Pets are ok on the road but not on beach as usual. They’ve shelters and restrooms too. There is a .3 mile walking trail and about 2 miles in way on the road. If you get lucky, you could meet a ghost crab or see a turtle nest."
