"Update: As I learn more about beef, I'm grateful the Butcher Shop has actual Butchers on hand. I make my own Biltong and the Butchers have done me right. Last week I went in and bought a 24lb section of beef. The young female Butcher had the confidence and patience to understand and carve that slab that I could use every ounce. Biltong, Tallow, a very creative rolled roast. That roast was so good, ill be back once my Biltong is done. The popularity of this store makes the selection of precut meat hit or miss. The location of the selection changes. The good news is if you have time, they will cut to order if you have a specific cut wanted. Domestic and Australian Wagyu galore. Large selection of spices and sauces. Prices for these extras are rather high for the size containers. It's an add-on, just like the candies at grocery check-out."

"Today was the second time I have been to this butcher. The first time was about a month and a half ago when I decided to check them out for a brisket. On that visit, the butcher Jordan was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and not only did he take time to give me some pointers and recommendations, he also did an amazing job of trimming the brisket for me, all within 10 minutes of closing for the night. Today I wanted some ribeye steaks. Instead of going to the wholesale club, I decided to stop by again. One of the associates was quick to answer questions and make recommendations and I settled on a couple of three packs. While waiting to pay Jordan recognized me and came out from the back to say hello. I was so impressed that a store full of people had zero weight and the butcher was happy to take the time to personally grief me and several other customers. He was exceptionally friendly and upbeat, chatted for a few moments, and wished me well. As you can see, the results were spectacular! While being fresh and hand-cut and locally sourced is awesome, and in addition to the amazing cuts of meat, what has won me over has been the exceptional attitude of Jordan and the rest of the staff. I will be back again and again!"

"This is a decent meat shop with a wide selection of products. ONE PROBLEM- They have several cuts of steaks that if you look at the label they do not say Choice! Yes, they have Prime steaks marked but the labels with no referance to Grade means you are getting Select or worse. Another thing is the Wagyu Beef comes from a non graded system and is not publicly traded so your guess on pricing being competitive or not is non existent. They have outstanding pork if you are picky about pork and pricing is reasonable. The employees are great, I like the store but I do not appreciate them peddling steaks that I think the general public might assume as Choice . Common guys! Choice beef is only slightly higher than Select right now!!!"

"My go to for quality steaks, tri-tip, ribs, and brisket. I have been going here for years and cannot say enough good things about everyone I have ever interacted with. They also process wild game and have always done a wonderful job on my venison. Don’t skip the pies in the cooler by the register, they are a family favorite!"
