"I originally emailed the dealership from their website about a 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid asking about the out-the-door price. One of the sales managers invited me in to test drive the vehicle and meet with Paul one of their sales staff. First, upon arrival the dealership itself is very modern looking with normal amenities like complementary water bottles and coffee drinks. Next, I met with Paul which was extremely professional, down to earth, and polite to speak with. During the test drive Paul was able to answer all my questions about the Sportage. He was able to compare the other vehicles we were looking at. Next, the pricing worksheet on the vehicle was explained in simple terms. I didn't feel pressured and was given time to look over paperwork to make the decision. Next, when we decided to purchase the vehicle we arrived near closing time. Paul was patient and courteous with us the whole time even though the buying process took us into the late evening. Paul went the extra mile and scheduled a detailing the following day since the crew went home. Lastly, we were impressed with the staff, purchase process, and happy with our new vehicle. Thanks for all of your time and patience through this big purchase and welcoming us to the Kia family."
"Bait and Switch is such an overused expression but this is what occurred today. I’ll preface, sales guy and sales manager were incredibly nice. We saw a vehicle priced exceptionally well so we decided to come in a take a look at said vehicle. Once we drove the vehicle we talked numbers; this dealership wanted to charge a “market adjustment” as well as, basically a mandatory warranty. The total was a 20% increase to the cost of the vehicle. Comical. If you wanted to make a “market adjustment”, list the car for higher, geniuses. I guess they rely on folks who don’t notice. I was also told they CPO their vehicles prior to selling but then ask the consumer to pay for it. So what they did was list a car extremely competitively, to get myself in the door, to then try and jack up the price of the vehicle with nonsense fees. I understand taxes, licensing, docs fees but “market adjustment” almost made me choke it was so funny. This was indeed a perfect example of a bait and switch. I don’t think it was the salesman or sales managers fault. I think it’s a junk practice by whoever actually controls this dealership or dealership group."
"Even before arriving Paul T. Was very courteous over the phone and he was extremely helpful in working with my wife to find a car that fit our needs and budget. Yves in finance was extremely patient despite some difficulties negotiating with the banks and was very transparent about his efforts to follow through with what Paul had set us up with. We are happy with our Kia Soul and would recommend that you ask for these gentlemen when looking for a new car in Cape Coral or the general SW Florida area."
