"I can offer a unique perspective since I am a diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and I am a patient of Dr Jones. Like the shoemaker with holes in his own shoes I am an implantologist with terrible bone in my own mouth (yes I am a clencher/grinder who wasn’t wearing my mouth guard at night). After two failed implants elsewhere Dr Jones graciously took me on as a patient knowing up front my case had been compromised and I was deficit of bone. There was nothing in it for Dr Jones other than a mission of mercy to help me. I needed these two lower premolars for important chewing. He was successful. I knew he was a good surgeon but I now realize he is a great surgeon. He is very smart and skilled how he successfully placed and just recently added the abutments making it ready for 2 crowns . Also it was bordering on the zone of safety because it was proximal to the mental foramen which if violated will leave the patient with a numb lip and jaw for rest of his or her life. I had prepared myself for permanent numb lip but there was none. He was also very warm and kind . His partner Robert Johnson was a fishing buddy of mine and my surgeon but he passed away untimely with an intricate surgery he had to have done. I miss Bobby. Please understand what a good man Dr jones is first of all. Then please understand what a very accomplished surgeon Dr Jones is especially his implant reconstruction etc. Thanks so much Glen.
