"Whether you're lucky enough to attend a musical performed by the M. Proctor Theater Guild in the upstairs auditorium or one of the outstanding recitals they bring into the church it's always a most enjoyable and impressive event in that beautiful and historic church complex."
"Easter services here were lovely. The organist is also the choirmaster, and there's a brass section: Trumpet, sliding trombone, and French horn. The lectern is shared with a Burmese clergy: He gave a short homily in Khmer to people in traditional Burmese attire in the congregation. Usual Sunday services begin at 10:30. Parking lot behind the church."
"A beautiful church in not only the historic building which is breathtaking but the diverse parishioners whose hearts are so big. Bruce Smith is a gifted organist and who heads up a choir that sounds heavenly. A very special placeβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ"
"This is a beautiful church on a grand scale. The organist is exceptional and turns out a wonderful choir of men, women and children; all while training new organists too. While they have an interim rector at present, there is currently a search going on for a new rector to serve the church. Anyone who has come to our Monday night concert in June knows of our choir. We also have beautiful stained glass windows, especially in the cancel and Lady Chapel. The beauty of the church cannot be described; it has to be seen to describe itself..."
"The organist truly know how and when to pull out the stops. His grandfather served as organist and raised him to play these pipes. The church has a dwindling congregation that has a long term survival plan to preserve the exquisite sanctuary and transform the cathedral house into mixed use housing and retail, a page out of the urban Episcopal playbook. I think the children's choir consists entirely of refugee children. They sang beautifully."
