"I recently moved to Forest Hills and stumbled upon Maryfield Cleaners while looking for a tailor to hem a pair of pants I received as a gift from my significant other. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the tailor’s knowledge and professionalism. I quickly established trust, knowing my pants were in good hands. As shown in the pictures here, the tailor did a fantastic job with the hemming. The attention to detail and craftsmanship were evident, leaving me extremely satisfied with the results. If you’re in the neighborhood and need a quality tailor, look no further than Maryfield Cleaners. Highly recommended!"

"The staff here is extremely friendly and the turnaround is great. The dry cleaning is always fine, however the tailoring services are priced very high in my opinion. I once paid $30 to have a pair of $30 jeans hemmed. Last week, I tried on a dress for a wedding here and asked the tailor to fix the cups- I was charged $30 and she did not do what I asked. When I brought it back to explain that she did not complete the alterations I paid for, I was told I would be charged to fix it. I ended up not being charged, but only because I said I could just go somewhere else. I asked her to please undo what she did and complete the tailoring that I had originally asked for and paid for. Today, I went back to go pick up the dress and she did not undo her original alterations. I need the dress for a wedding that is in 2 days, so there is nothing they or I can do at this point. I would not recommend this place for tailoring or alterations."

"I'm giving 1 star because they are nice but their technique or whatever it is they do at this place be ready to get your jackets, your tshirts, your pants 1 size smaller. Probably they just leave the clothes drying for hours. I won't be back. Too many times. Half of my nice tshirts are way smaller. This isn't fair. You guys destroyed an expensive windbreaker jacket."

"Went here as a recommendation from a local dress shop to hem my mother dress for my wedding, the staff initially were very nice. My sister then decided to fix her dress as well and needed resizing of the back straps since she is big breasted. My mother needed some resizing of her shoulder straps and fixing of the cleavage. When they picked the dresses up they were not able to try them on again to make sure everything was ok. They tried it on once they came home and it was horrible. My sisters dress in the back was loose, my mothers shoulder straps were bad and it even seemed that the jewelry beads on the dress had been ripped and reapplied badly. We went back they kept insisting they knew what they were doing, tried to fix it again but failed. They still didn’t let them try it in store again. I really had high hopes, I feel bad leaving a bad review since they were initially very nice, however, I do not recommend. Maybe only for hemming but nothing else. Maybe it was my mistake coming to a small shop like this. I’d recommend finding a professional instead of coming here."
