"As a kid I lived upstairs in the early 1970s. This was once a tavern called Joes Corner. The owner Joe was a very nice man. It was a rough crowd that usually went there, from the neighborhood mostly Anglo people . My dad also bar tendered there for a while. The building had many garages attached to the property that neighbors would rent out. Then in about 1975 a Dominican lady purchased the tavern and named it Cafe Romance to cater to the growing Hispanic community. They also turned it into a sort of go go bar. My dear late friend David’s mother was the owner. Then I believe it became a laundromat as it is today. A lot of history in that building."
"Rude employees. The place is always dirty and most of the machines don't work. This place is trash."
"People can steal clothes here and the owner wouldn’t even check cameras unless police shows up. Horrible service."
"Great wash & fold service. Best in the biz! The folding is impeccable. I love how long my clothes will stay fresh after it's been washed!!"
