"2 stars for female attendant in evening 5 stars for machine quality. The owner is very nice. The dryers are very hot and dry better than others in town. I like their machines and the shop is generally clean. The attendant could use a bit of customer service skills, she keeps the place tidy but is dismissive and tries to kick people out **before** 7:15 pm even though the last wash is at 7:30 pm. She also likes to lock up before closing time. The woman literally stands at the door impatiently with her belongings BEFORE closing time and has told us to hurry up and leave while the dryer is still running. It's disgusting. Honestly, this laundromat is probably the best one we've found so far, and we've already tried 5 within a 2 block radius. All the dryers we tried there are the hottest in the neighborhood so far. (Another review below advertised Mr. Chow's down the street. We went there in the Summer and objectively can not recommend it, especially since he has no AC and it gets packed. His dryers were lukewarm, required many quarters and a lot of time to mostly-dry our clothes, AND even then, the clothes were very wrinkled. **** A good dryer heats the fabric enough to make the fibers stretch and relax any wrinkles; you should be able to quickly fold the items and have them look relatively smooth. (I've had to do a lot of garment care in my day.)**** We will continue returning here because of the high quality efficient washers and dryers, even if it means suffering through that woman's terrible customer service. Hopefully management re-trains her because it's a real shame for a great venue."
"Completely disorganized, machines stopped and people standing around waiting to dry clothes. The attendant kept rushing customers to spend less time on the machines. (Not counting the broken machines)"
"If I could leave 0 stars I would. Only thing more putrid than the state of this laundromat is the attitude of the people who work there. I've had laundry stolen here, and they've never attempted to help me in any way, shape, or form. Not even to look at the cameras to see who did it. If that wasn't bad enough, the folding tables and baskets are always dirty. I'd rather wash my clothes in the East River & fold them on the Times Square sidewalk than go here again. Go a block over to Chow's. This place is not worth your time or your money."
"our go-to laundromat! there are certain points in the day that i'd recommend goin' on if you're not workin' a 9-5 and/or have a day-off where it's less crowded and it's not exactly ideal that ya have to grab quarters to use the machines instead of, say, a card, but the staff is always friendly and kind. on top of that, if a machine goes down, they're very quick to get repairs goin'! also, accidentally left some clothes there and, to my surprise, they held onto it for us, which was a blessin' for sure! needed those clothes for work! it's also relaxin' to do laundry while watchin' some TV or walkin' around a bit to grab somethin' to nom on. genuinely trust this place with our clothes. i wouldn't entirely trust the negative reviews about this place. don't get me wrong it's not perfect in the slightest, but i've seen some of the people who go into this place and a lot of them seem to be pretty out-of-touch when it comes to places like this or drop off an insane amount of laundry for the small amount of ppl who work there to handle. y'all complain about prices or how the clothes come back, but drop off bags of clothes that y'all can spend an hour to wash and dry yourselves, especially the WFH folk who live a block away. calm down. these ladies already got enough on their plate, if you're worried about your aussiebums or your latest victoria's secret haul, wash 'em yourselves. smh."
"I’ve been doing my laundry here for 5 years and have been doing drop-off for some items for about 2 years. I’ve never had a problem, and the staff is always very polite. Only issue I’ve had is that the clothes/sheets/towels sometimes come back stiff and dry."
