They said that it would be ready in two weeks, and I had to reach out just to find out that it wasn't ready yet. If this is the kind of turnaround time that can be expected, steer clear of this place. I'll edit this review if something changes."

"Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this cleaners in my most recent exchanges with them. A few years ago, when moving to the area, I went to this cleaners for a few simple tailoring jobs and garment cleanings with no issues. So I was eager to return to them this summer with a fairly large tailoring order. I arranged to come in for measurements. On June 10th after approximately an hour of taking measurements and discussing exactly what needed to be done, I was given a ticket stating that my items would be ready for pick up on June 30th. The owner, who took the measurements and printed this ticket, assured me that he would call me the following business day with an estimate upon talking with the tailor so that I could determine if I would have them proceed with completing the job. I never heard from him. So I started calling for an estimate every few days, I even showed up to the cleaner in person, and would get the same assurance from the owner that he would call me with an estimate. He never called me with an estimate once. Needless to say the clothes were not done by the provided date and this back and forth dragged on until July 20th. The only reason I dragged on with them is because I didnt feel up to going through the lengthy remeasuring process with such a large order with another tailor, which thankfully I did find down the street from them. I didn't receive a price for the tailoring until I came to pick up my stuff and everything was already done. He gave me a price after talking at length in another language to the tailor right in my face. No translating of the conversation or anything. Epitome of unprofessional. My clothes were piled on a chair behind the front desk. I came to pick them up 2 hours after the pick up time I was given the week prior. The owner said he didn't get a chance to press them yet. Because I arrived that day with intention of taking my clothes whether they were done or not and wanting to cut ties with this place at this point I just said I would pay for my stuff and take it as is. After dropping off clothes to a cleaners on June 10th and after several weeks of back and forth, I was handed my clothes in 2 used bags, one of which was a white trash bag, on June 20th. Amid the aforementioned drama, I went to a cleaner down the street from Argonne Cleaners and had a similar tailoring order in magnitude and extent of work placed. Literally as I'm changing into one item, they are providing a direct estimate with prices already established in English for the item they just took measurements for. No games, no run around, no lack of professionalism. They honored their time frames and even when additional time was needed for an item, they reached out to me to make arrangements for a slightly later deadline. Their price for the work was slightly cheaper and the quality of work outstanding. Back to Argonne Cleaners, one of my items Argonne Cleaners tailored was returned to me with a newly broken zipper. I took the dress back to the owner and his initial question was if the zipper was already broken...Ridiculous! Would we not have noticed the zipper was not functional when I wore the dress for several minutes for you to measure and tug on for alterations? Anyway, he takes the dress. I come back a week later to pick it up, and the zipper is still broken. He gives it to the tailor right in front of me, the tailor does some work with the zipper and they give the dress back to me, assuring me the problem is fixed. The owner said that next time they need to put a more appropriate zipper in the dress, the current zipper does not work with the fabric of the dress. I reminded him that he was the one who put this zipper in the dress a few years ago. I took the dress home and the zipper was still broken. Thankfully my new tailor was able to replace the zipper in no time. I have never felt as undervalued and disrespected as a paying customer as I did dealing with Argonne Cleaners."

Just dropped off clothes to get adjusted and while other cleaners in the area would take an average of 5 days to return the service, Argonne got it done in 2 days with excellent condition. I’d say they best part was their price but I was surprised with the quality of the customer service. 100% will have my business in the future for sewing and cleaning! 10/10 recommending to everyone"
