"total trash place. bunch of liars and disregard for what your trying to do while your having tough time finding a job. Noone cares so whats the since. might as well just give up since noone cares and just move to another state but it might not be much better because everyone tainted by idiots in charge that dont know what they doing . They all lie right to your face when its the good people that weren't trained the right way so they just respond irresponsibly when its very important to have the pertinent information being given to the cllients that use this system. Better training is needed."
"I have been trying for “weeks” to get an agent to complete my New York State unemployment and I cannot get through. I called the local office and you cannot get through and nobody returns your call. This is Absolutely ridiculous New York DOL!!"
"Unfair. To anyone who dealt with "Joselyn," "Joe," "KB," "Joanna," "Gary," "the security guards," and just about anyone else, it is unfair to give this office any kind of low rating. The problems you are having are probably due to the accompanying systemic inadequacies (benign and/or intentional) of many of their interorganizational sphere of inter-related organizations in their ecosystem. These inadequacies are hamstringing these wonderful workers. Please give them the benefit of the doubt at this time. Very Respectfully & Keep Up the Good Work, Richard Morfopoulos Ph.D., M.S. with distinction, PHRP Do not blame them- help them."
"How can an organization such as the Department of Labor just ignore all these negative reviews and do nothing about it and then make poor excuses to why things are not working effectively. Whoever is in charge of this organization should be removed. when you call and the lines are busy you're just told to call back later. Then you call all day long wasting your time to try to get in touch with them and still the answering system says to call back later. There should be a call back system in place so that way when you are busy people can receive a call back. People are calling for days if not weeks trying to reach someone."
"Literally trash. Was told to come in to help with my bfs unemployment and they said nothing about having two documents of proof on us. We drove all the way from Levittown just to be told we have to sit down and call the unemployment office which is what we could have done from home. It’s probably not their fault but the bigger problem is the government. They wasted our time and the multi factor authorization idea has been a trash idea that has already failed as well. Don’t ever put just your phone number because heaven forbid, if you get a new phone you’ll never receive your unemployment. They always give you the run around and make it impossible to have money to eat when you lose your job due to layoffs."
