"Sophie & her team at Cultivating the Collective put on one of the most incredible experiences in Oaxaca. I can’t recommend them more. Pairing with Oaxaca con Migo and Empowered Women we were able to explore Oaxaca in the most authentic way possible. we started the trip in Oaxaca City meeting with local female entrepreneurs breaking social norms and pushing boundaries to grow their business for future generations. We left Oaxaca city empowered and full of energy from the incredible women around us. The journey didn’t end there. The group then took us to mangrove paradise that is Chacahua. To say Chacahua is beautiful is an understatement. An area with so much history we were able to sit down with locals to hear their stories of growing up on the island and the different ways tourism is adding and subtracting from this natural paradise. We enjoyed one of the most delicious meals of mahi-mahi caught that morning and prepared in the afternoon along with a nighttime boat ride where the stars outnumbered everything. We ended the trip relaxing in Hautulco making this all an absolute dream vacation. Thank you Sophie, Yurani, Ivetth, Tony, and the rest of the team!! I can’t wait for the next trip!"
