"Terminal 8 is fresh and clean. Plenty of screens around to show flight details. We went to the Greenwich lounge which is huge! Lots of great food and drinks available. Table service is available. It was all complimentary."
"I mean, it's an airport, right? Lots more places to eat at Terminal 4 than obvious, so explore and don't just jump at the first place. Two drinks and an average Mexican meal for $100, was our mistake. Really?! Welcome to JFK. But it's comfortable, easy WiFi, there is choice of eatery (if you explore the Gates), and comfy chairs with power for charging your kit. We flew on Virgin Altlantic. It worked well. They held us on the ground, waiting for a storm to pass (air traffic control managing it all well). Well done the pilots! (They all talked apparently and basically agreed it was safer to wait). A pictures of the lightning included! Noteworthy ... we returned an Avis hire car. Good signage, easy roads (though a few tolls the way we went). But easy..."
"Putting aside the current construction projects this airport is not overly user friendly. It is quite the hike to get to the tram which takes you from one terminal to the next. The security check was very slow, although the TSA agents were kind and pleasant. Some parts of the airport are nicer and other areas are awaiting updates. Not a lot of seating options in the terminals nor is there power to the seats. You will have to go find a power source to charge electronics. Overall not the most efficient nor easiest airport to get in and out of."
"It's a huge airport where I had to walk about 15 minutes to get to my gate. But it's very easy to navigate because of the signs. There are many shops in the terminal. The restroom are clean and spacious."
"Efficient airport. Easy to navigate and helpful staff. The security check points can be crowded as this airport roughly has 50,000 people traveling each day. Drop of lanes in the departure terminals for passengers arriving by car can be chaotic, be ready to unload your bags in an efficient manner."
