"Scenic beauty, picnic spot, lawns, memorial, seaside walking / cycling - all with a view of the statue of liberty - it's all in one for any age. Ideal for families, couples, little ones, pets, friends. There is plenty of free parking in the AM but can get crowded later in the afternoons. The restrooms are well maintained considering the footfalls. The picnic, barbecue areas are filled to the brim in the day hours. There are a couple of ice cream trucks but no food trucks - there are a bunch of trucks about a mile away, though."

"Great place for a view of NYC skyline, Lady Liberty and Ellis Island. Easy to get to, lots of parking and a short walk down to the river. If you don't have time to explore the city, but want to get an easy-to-get-to great view, this is the place."

"200 Morris Pesin Drive is one of the best place to go on the weekends….Enjoy free parking…Plan well ahead if you need a barbecue to grill…. Outside food is allowed… lot of playing area for the kids…long walk along side the river is another attraction…restrooms available…wheelchairs accessible…a nice icecream truck usually there…carry drinking water…canopy or tents are not advisable because of powerful winds."
