"This is a beautiful playground with many amenities nearby. A fence surrounds the entire corner lot. Small children came to play here and mother's and father come to relax and converse with one another. It is a very friendly neighborhood with people not only looking out for one a other but welcoming and enquiring about the welfare of newcomers too."
"This is a legendary park in south jamaica queens. From the early days with the dj in the park with music & cook outs,to the basketball games,PAL summer youth program. Jamaica playground aka 40 park was the park to be at .If you grew up in the neighborhood you know what iam talking about. Over the years the park is not the same high light it use to be ,but it still serves it purpose for the youth with basketball.And parents taking their children to the swings and play ground. And that's all that matters right now is helping the youth stay positive and giving them something positive to do in the south jamaica community."
