"Absolutely terrible experience with the Jersey City Parking Authority. The staff were incredibly rude and showed no care or concern for my situation. If you don't want to work, then don't work! They were no help at all, and I ended up having to call the cops to get any resolution. Very disappointing and frustrating."
"I had a problem with my garage remote. I contacted Liberty Harbor and spoke with Mrs. Anitra Kasbarisn who was a very professional representative demonstrating sincere listening skills and concern to resolve my problem. Anitra offered a follow up to me to drop off another remote if there were any problems to the replacement. I really commend her commitment to customer service."
"I call parking you utility as I got home because a Jeep was obstructing my way of parking in front of my garage, which forced me to be improperly parked in front of my residential garage. I identified myself as MOS because I am actively on the job provided my phone number, which they stated they would call me when they arrived on scene. They did not call me and not only did they not call me they gave me a ticket in front of my own residential garage! On top of that my brother, who I reside with, then wait since we had to wait for parking utility to ticket the initial car that we called about in order to get it towed. Upon JCPD arrival at approximately 0147 hours, they inform my brother that the Jeep isn’t blocking. Mind you the front passenger tire to the bumper of a Jeep is in our drive way, but according to the officers it wasn’t. As. A result, the car never got towed. On top of that, I called at 2238 hours. I had been waiting that I even fell asleep, which is why my brother waited. Let’s forget the fact that I am an MOS for a second. The citizens of Jersey City are constantly getting ticketed meaning parking utility makes a lot of money for the city. Residents that do not have a paid parking spot or a garage have difficulty finding a proper parking spot at times, and still have to be mindful of when the sweeper comes each and everyday. I never called at all in regards to my driveway being blocked ever. I’ve lived in my current residence for a year already. The one and only time that I call for their assistance not only did I not get the proper help, I got ticketed in my own driveway. I completely understand the city of Jersey City is busy and has other priority jobs, and understand 100% as I work in the field of law enforcement. After a long day, coming home later than expected, all you want to do is go home to sleep, and upon your arrival to your own residence your driveway is blocked once again. Any human being would be annoyed, tired , and frustrated. I will never again call for assistance because at this point it’s useless in my eyes. I might as well ticketed the vehicle myself and requested a tow. Residents pay a lot of money to live within this city, inflations are at currently an all time high, and holidays are amongst us. Forget about me, do better of taking care of the residents who work hard day in and day out. Instead of continuously building new buildings how about building more parking lots that could be designated for residents only parking. Give back to the people and try not to run their pockets just to make money for the city."
"Happy to say I had a very good experience with getting temporary no parking signs today. The officer at the front was lively and kind when he signed me in. The security lady that scanned my things was pleasant. And Jesenia in the parking permit office was very very kind and patient with me, you can tell she really wants to help and doesn't hate her job. I was in and out in just a couple of minutes, no line at 11am on a Tuesday. Just wanted to highlight a great experience."
"Jersey city parking enforcement is claiming to no longer be enforcing the PAID city lots at night!! I get out of work at 8 pm and can’t park in the lot I pay for along with my neighbor who gets out of work at 11 pm and parks in the same lot “54”. Parking enforcement has told us “there is nothing we can do, our systems don’t work at night” so why do the employees work at night? What are we paying for? Something needs to be done!! The night shift in parking enforcement are the laziest people I’ve ever encountered. How is this acceptable?"
