"The worst one that I have ever visited. You have to go through security checkpoints to go to the post office only to find out it’s closed for an hour. Only one Clark available. The office hour per website 8:15 am but when I have visited at 8:30 am, the Clark told me to come at 9:45am. Total waste of taxpayers money it should be closed asap."
"Not bad can get most things done at this mini branch. Beware the hours though. It says 815 am but the building doesn't open to the public until 8:30am and then the office itself closes at 845am for mail sorting for a few hours. You only have like 15 min in the am hours to actually use it."
"Use often as live nearby. Fast and efficient. No to very little wait- which is amazing. Not as hidden if you ask the courthouse guards to guide you. To get there: Enter the building through the main doors of the courthouse. Pass through metal detector, then go downstairs- guards are SUPER friendly and will guide you to the elevators to get to post office downstairs, then follow the sign. Some have had bad experience bc they don't pay attention to the HOURS OF OPERATION: Opens at 8:15am, closes 8:45-9:45am for 1 hour to deliver court mail, re-opens at 9:45AM until 1PM, closes for lunch hour, reopens at 2:00PM until 3:30PM."
"'Secret' post office in a basement - The pin location is correct but you can only enter from the main entrance, through the metal detector. No ID was asked but that could change. Take the 'hidden' elevator in a small passage behind the main elevator to the basement. Follow the sign that says "Post Office / Rifle & Shotgun License". Right behind another security desk is a tiny post office, well kept, and the staff was nice and did the job professionally. Special envelopes and pens are well stocked. No waiting whatsoever on a rainy day around noon."
"This post office is completely empty. Every time I go in there the same guy is working and he is helpful with anything you need. This post office is inside Queens Borough Hall so you have to go through a metal detector to get inside. This post office is in the basement and is not easy to find. It has very limited hours, which are even further limited by the fact that Queens Borough Hall isn't open to the public until 8:30am, even though it claims to open at 8:15. I got there today at 8:25, thinking that it opened at 8:30. Typically there is no line for security but since it wasn't open, there was a large line of people waiting to get in. By the time I got in, went through security, waited for the elevator, and got to the basement, it was almost time for the post office to close again. As I was filling out the addresses on the priority mail envelope, the post office worker asked me if I was almost done because it was time to close. I would normally give 3 or 4 stars because of the very limited hours but I think the average rating for this post office is unfairly low so I'm giving 5 stars to help offset the balance. It's a very nice post office and very quiet. I'm someone who gets a lot of anxiety waiting on lines with a crowd of people and this post office avoids that, unless you arrive before queens borough hall opens."
