"I usher at this church and it truly feels like a second home! Father Mirek is passionate and down to earth. The people who attend church and kind and generous. I could not ask for a better church to attend mass!"
"We had a marvelous Gathering beautiful space, beautifully decorated. Parishioners were very welcoming and gracious, as were the priests."
"Nice church especially for Polish people that do not live in Greenpoint. Polish Mass every Sunday. Simple, humble, close to God."
"Went to this school abt until I was 10 - 11 years old. Today I am not a Roman Catholic. I do not practice catholism. I don't believe in praying to plastered statues. God said this is how you should pray...Our Father who art in Heaven.... He didn't say to touch plaster and pray to Mary she was just a vessel to carry Jesus why pray Hail Mary full of grace? Or Hail Holy Queen? What is that abt? Anyway, I had a bad experience with this church. The nuns use to hit us with the ruler and I think they still practice that. Nobody will put their hands on my child nun or not. Then it this thing abt confession...How can "MAN" absolve me from my sins? The only person who can forgive me is Jesus Christ. A priest is just a man like any other man. Just bc he's married to the church doesn't mean he isn't man. A priest took vowels but he is not divine and human as Jesus was. So with that being said God Bless Father Bruno...May his soul rest in peace He did my communion and penance and reconciliation with me. He was a good man. God bless all the ppl that go to this church. May you all find the true calling to have your own personal relationship with God. Stay blessed."
"First, lovely interior. I went here to observe and see if this would be a church id like to attend every weekend. I grew up in the Catholic church and I am starting to go back to church. The people in this church are not only rude and judgemental , they are hostile. I couldn't believe I was in a Catholic church . As soon as I entered the pew, everyone around me started clutching their bags and patting their pockets frantically for their phones. It was the most disgusting attitude I have ever come across within a church. Knowing what I know, I understand people are obstacles that are put there to deter you from attending church and receiving a blessing. So i looked forward and listened to the message. The people in this church were so parinoid sitting even around me that they almost lost it when I would look into space around the church because they perceived that as some kind of threat. Last, this church is overcrowded. They showed us a YouTube video which was basically advertising on why we should give to the church . I understand the concept but I didn't come here to watch YouTube . That being said, I won't be coming back here. I will still be on the hunt for the church that fits me best. I understand not all church goers are perfect but damn. Excuse me folks but if you are gonna jump out your seat because someone is a little darker than you , I'm sorry but you are not goi ng to heaven. Goodluck with that buddy lol"
