"Food is really great!! But the waitress really needed to ask the customers if they wanted the food before they took it away. It has been a few times that we haven't finished it and they just took it away. As I was eating, it was so fast that I couldn't stop it. If the waitress could be friendlier, I bet your restaurant will have more people to come as your food is really yummy. Please don't ruin it."
"I had a rather disappointing experience with the expensive soy sauce chicken here. At $28 for half a chicken, it's completely overpriced. As someone from Guangdong, I can say that the taste doesn't even compare to what you can get back in China or even some places in Flushing. What's more, it's nearly twice the price of similar dishes in Flushing, where you can get half a chicken for just $14 to $16. Even considering inflation, this price is way too exorbitant. In the United States, chicken should be one of the most affordable meat options, right?"
"today I got curry beef over rice for takeout from tasty cow, I got a big piece of metal like object that seems to be lead, my tooth is very sensitive now, and who knows if I am going to have lead poisoning down the years. this is an extremely bad situation! These curry beef are cooked in a big pot, even the people who didn’t get the piece of lead in their food but the heat from cooking might have already contaminated the whole pot! How can a piece of lead get into the food? Where did it come from? Do you not care about the food safety of your customers? What a low mistake to have!"
"Extremely high quality chinese style beef noodles/rice in Douglaston! The soup tasted very ‘real’ - meaning it’s beef and spices without msg or artificial flavoring- it’s something that I or a family member would make at home. Beef is tender and tasty, soup is strong and natural tasting. I thought the beef portion is very generous, especially given the way beef prices are at the moment. My friend ordered the pig knuckles over rice and she said it was tender and good, well balanced. The menu also has more dishes for dinner items - looks a little pricier, but you’re paying for quality, so I am ok with that. The ingredient itself (beef) is expensive, so I am ok with the price. Will come back again- this is now going to be a regular place for me!"
"Skewers are tender cover with cumins & touch of spicy after tasted. They tasted much better than the streets vendors in Asian communities…Food overall are good! And they accept cash only!!"
