"As a native New Yorker living in the Bronx, I am always excited to discover new neighborhoods in my city. Laura was an excellent guide to the culinary highlights, and history, of Jackson Heights. The tastes were varied and very filling! She followed up with a list of what and where we ate as well as some recommendations for future visits. I can't wait to go back! Thanks, Laura!!"

"Laura provided an ideal food and cultural tour for our group from the University of Mobile. We did the tour as our first activity in a week-long journey through New York as part of a travel course entitled "Explore the World in NYC". Laura did a great job of being an ambassador of her neighborhood, and this was a fantastic way of diving into the fabric of NYC on a human scale. I would definitely recommend these tours for educational purposes with students. Laura is so easy to work with, and the students were able to experience so much!"

"AMAZING Tour! Laura is a true world food connoisseur, delightful and knows her stuff, like anyone who’s written about food for the NYT, and carried her own food blog for years! Stopped at 5 different places…Bangladesh, Indian, Nepal, Tibet and Colombia…all within a few blocks in Queens, every place knew her and she ordered like a local from the country. Best part, is took my 8 yr old daughter who said that was the highlight of her NYC experience, and we ate at some amazing places!"

"Great experience. Laura was a wonderful guide, she lives in Jackson Heights and is familiar with all the food vendors and restaurants. We experienced some foods for the first time, all good. Also experienced a neighborhood we had not been. A very worthwhile experience."

"I couldn’t recommend Laura’s food tour more! My mom and sister were visiting and we were looking for a small group tour that felt approachable but authentic and Laura did an incredible job. We learned so much about the history of the Jackson Heights neighborhood and the food was delicious at every stop. You can tell how much she loves her neighborhood and I also really appreciated her commitment to recycling/avoiding waste. Whether you are a local or visiting New York from out of town I would highly recommend getting out of the typical tourist areas and doing Laura’s tour. I can’t wait to come back with my friends!"
