"I have gone to various post offices in Queens and Manhattan and this one is probably the worst. Every other package or letter that is sent through this post office is either lost or delayed. I used this post office to send a package to Manhattan. It ended up in Tennessee before someone in Tennessee noticed and sent it back to New York. I sent a packet of condo purchase documents with my private information to the Astoria office from this post office. The tracking never updated. The office did call to let me know they got my info, almost 3 weeks after I sent it. Commute to the Rockefeller center post office. Their service is way better. At least you know that your mail is getting there"

"Beautiful building. Inside is hell and it’s not an understatement. Good luck trying to mail something. It will always be late. Best of luck trying to have a package picked up. Your mail carrier will lie and say it’s been picked up but is too busy gossiping with people on the block instead of doing her job. Facts."

"I was nervous to go to this location because of all of the bad reviews, however after my pleasant experience I felt compelled to right one. I worked with Susanna Who is very patient kind and helpful. I had a couple of questions regarding the shipping of my envelope and she answered each one and helped me through it together what I needed. I also observed other representatives Helping customers and they all seemed helpful and efficient. I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this location. However, I have nothing but great things to say and will be back. I came in on a Saturday late morning and was in and out in 15 minutes even with a line in front of me!"

"I have never encountered a more incompetent and heartless group of people than the staff at this USPS office. It is truly a disgrace. From the moment you step inside, you are treated with utter disdain and a shocking lack of empathy. It's as if the employees derive some twisted satisfaction from making your experience as miserable as possible. The worst part is their attitude. These people are absolutely disgusting in their treatment of others. They lack basic human decency. This USPS office is a nightmare. The staff is rude, inefficient, and devoid of any empathy. They don’t deserve your time, your patience, or your business."
