"After checking times Church would be open on its website was very disappointed to find Church doors locked during hours website it would be open"
"Beautiful church, great ministration, I love to go here it takes my mind off things."
"Have never forgotten the good times I had there and the excitement when they opened the new church...still remember the old church which was in the basement. I was one of the altar boys who was part of the opening ceremonies when the new St Teresa (Theresa)Church opened. Moved out to Wantagh in 1953 when I was in class 6B; they advanced me to 7th grade since I was in a split year (6B) in September 1953; I was still way ahead of the curriculum than Levittown Jr/Sr high school was; I was part of the opening of the Levittown Memorial Jr/Sr High School. Never figured out if I would have been graduating class of 1955 or 1956 at St. Teresa. Sad to see they could not keep the school open; St Sebastian is a long walk from the Celtic apartments where I lived. Guess you have to take the bus or subway. I imagine there are not enough nuns to staff schools anymore; that really hurts the manufacturing of wooden yardsticks, the nuns weapon of choice. :) Wonder what ever happened to P.S. 125 on 46th street."
"Very beautiful catholic church inside and out. Attended a baptism there and it was very nice and organized. They offer masses in English and Spanish throughout the week."
"Beautiful Church where my children were baptized. I chose my apartment because I could stand on the roof in times of trouble and pray. I could also see the fireworks in NYC and the top of the Citi Consumer Skyscraper in Long Island City."
