"One of my favorite things to do in New York is visit this beautiful Thai temple, where I can find peace and serenity amidst the bustling city."
"I went to see this temple and I sat briefly in the downstairs shrine then i went upstairs to the beautiful temple and i sat there and practiced breathing mindfulness, in and out, calm calm calm. A very beautiful temple and if you find a Thai buddhist friend to go with they could tell you about what some of the things say in Thai. i study Sanskrit and now maybe I'll learn the basic Thai alphabet. Much more than intellectual curiosity though, simply sitting in the space with those painted ceilings and walls and practice what i read in mahasatipatthana sutta is quite mentally healthy and peaceful. Highly recommend going over there!"
"Serene temple. Monks are very friendly! Lots of statues of The Buddha l come by and give this place a visit"
"Very great place. Peaceful & quiet. Placed gold leaf for good luck on the round rocks. We went here with Joe DiStefano on a food tour. This is a great place for the Thai community in the area. Also really shows how authentic this area is - all south east Asia. Amazing restaurants in the area! I also heard the Thai women make amazing food for The monks here at lunch time and you can volunteer to feed them...."
