"If I could give 0 stars, I would. I always try to use the self serve kiosk, but when my package was too big to fit in the drop box, the workers refused to just take it and insisted I wait on the line that was literally, to the door. There was a worker already in the back, not helping customers, and refused to just take the package. I had to email corporate who responded and said: "please accept my sincerest apology for the bad experience you had at the Jackson Height Post Office, their ignorance to your request, which is as simple as to accept a mailable-ready package, is unacceptable. We brought this issue to the management and they addressed this issue and said will make the appropriate corrections." I totally get not cutting the line, but if you have a worker, who is just sorting packages from the drop box, I don't get why you can't just take the package. I've also had issues where my mother has re-routed a package here for pickup, and have been interrogated as to why I didn't put this or that address if I'm going to re-route, why am I picking up for my mother and if I'm picking up, why didn't I just use my name. Mind you, our addresses match the address on the package, and I literally have her ID. An absolute power trip - give me my package, the reasons behind everything else is really none of their concern. Overall, this location, and the workers, need a re-vamp on their training, and highly recommend going elsewhere, or using another shipping service."
"I had a scheduled appointment today at 1:45 for my sons passport. When I arrived they told me I didn’t have a scheduled appointment and the lady who is in charge of the passport was extremely rude. I was extremely upset. She told me I was a liar and she was not going to help me because she is done for the day. I asked to speak to a manager. Supervisor came and was trying to assist. Not sure why the post office has very rude customer experience. Please coach your staff to be professional and nice to their customers."
"I genuinely think that the people behind the counter are trying their best, but this post office is overcrowded and dysfunctional. USPS needs to open another post office in the area to alleviate the overcrowding that occurs here. The photo I've included doesn't even show how the line went all the way to the exit, and it's like that EVERY time I go. In the last year, they have lost two of my packages that I dropped. I have to go there this afternoon, and I've been putting it off because of how terrified I am of the potential wait. Please, USPS, help us out here in Jackson Heights! We need it desperately!"
"Incredible, I went on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 to return a package for a printer that I had to return, the company I bought sent me the USPS label, I'm going to stand in line, I wait almost 50 minutes and the worker tells me that it was too big and I couldn't weigh it, they don't receive that size and I took it to 103 ST. post Office. My box was only 22 inches x 26 inches and didn't weigh much, it was just a printer. I wasted time and my liver got sicker. I say because they don't put a notice saying what type of packages and measures that only they accept. I've been visiting that post office for years and I saw before that packages that didn't fit through the window went through the door. I hope they post their notices and that customers don't waste time. I see that most of the reviews ask for more attention for this post office, in my case and the customer service seems to be not good, we hope that the people in charge take into account what the community demands."
"80 minutes waiting. It’s really unbelievable long line and slow service. I took the picture to my items the lady name Yasmin something if I’m not wrong spelling of her name. and looks like she from Bangladesh somewhere, but she didn’t allow me to take the picture to my own item. I didn’t even take the picture to her and I took the picture only to my own item for my own record, that lady say you’re not allowed to take the picture. Since Usps is open for public and public office I can take the picture to her and inside if I want. Not on that she has incredible huge attitude show to me and she said I don’t wanna do service to you take your item back then I call to Manager who has a professional. finally Manager said to her don’t do it and do his Service he can take the picture."
