Welcome to Transfiguration of Christ Greek Orthodox Church, a vibrant and welcoming place of worship located in the heart of Queens, New York. Situated at 38-05 98th Street, Corona, NY 11368, our church has been a cornerstone of faith and community since 1926, dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Christ and fostering a spirit of brotherly love.

At Transfiguration, we are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of all our members, from the youngest to the oldest. Our Sunday School program, held weekly from October to May, offers children the opportunity to learn about God, the Bible, and His will for our lives. Classes take place every Sunday after communion, from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM, using a curriculum that draws from the rich traditions of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

We encourage active participation in our Divine Liturgy and Sunday School, believing that regular attendance enriches our faith journey. Our church hosts a variety of annual events, such as the Blessing of the Waters Service, Vasilopita cutting, and Godparent Sunday, along with special Lenten services and more. These events foster a sense of community and spiritual connection among our members.

For those interested in music, we offer Instrumental Training in Traditional Hellenic Music, spanning from the Byzantine era to the present. Our program invites you to explore the rich musical heritage of our faith community.

If you are in need of spiritual services such as the Agiasmo or Holy Unction, or require a visit from Fr. Chrysostom for a house, hospital, or nursing home visit, please contact our church office at (718) 458-5251. We are here to support you and your loved ones in times of need.
