"I wasn't even aware this area was named after the city's first African-American mayor, so a pleasant surprise. The area is very busy as would be expected on an unseasonably warm winter weekend. Yes, it is still officially winter. There were public restrooms available, which, due to the high traffic, could use more attention. There was also a food stand that had a variable menu selection. However, I believe they only accept cash."
"A lot of flashy looking stuff around here like the US Open facility and Citi Field but the circle itself is a bit outdated and dilapidated. Faded murals on the brick ground that were probably once beautiful and/or inspiring. Time for an update NYC Parks and Rec!!!"
