"I went there to cash a check. It turns out they only cash checks at specific locations. No problem, I go to the next branch on Court St. The manager is not there. It turns out they only cash checks when the manager is in. The teller tells me that I can come back the next day. I come back the following Thursday, the manager is now on vacation and won't be back until Tuesday. They ask me if I would like to open an account. The nerve!"

"If a checking account customer writes a check to someone, that person should be able to cash that check at the bank which it is drawn on. Citibank failed that most basic test today."
