Welcome to St. John the Evangelist School, a vibrant educational community located at 25 Ocean Avenue, Center Moriches, New York. Our school is dedicated to serving the youth of our parish and their families by nurturing their faith and preparing them for the sacraments. As an integral part of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, we offer a supportive and faith-filled environment that extends beyond the classroom.

Our mission is to reach out to thousands each week through our diverse ministries, providing spiritual guidance, educational opportunities, and community support. We invite you to join us for our weekly masses, which are held on Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (Spanish), and on Sundays at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12 noon, and 6:00 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, our Saturday 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. masses are livestreamed and available on Facebook.

Daily masses are held Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. and 12 noon, with an additional mass on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. The 7 a.m. daily mass is also livestreamed for your convenience. We offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation in Our Lady’s Chapel, with confessions available after weekday masses and at various times on weekends.

Our school is more than just a place of learning; it is a community where children grow in knowledge, faith, and service. We encourage you to explore our various outreach programs, including 'Ernie's Place' Thrift Store, children's liturgies, and numerous volunteer opportunities. We also offer resources for planning weddings and support for victims of sexual abuse.
