"I called the phone number listed and asked if I could drop off a donation and the person on the phone said “yes anytime before 4PM.” I Ubered to the location and they would not take my donation. The staff there said they never spoke to anyone on the phone despite confirming that I had called the correct number for that location."

"It is a community center that offers many programs for free for children and adults. During this time of need, the Salvation army of Astoria has a food pantry thats offers packages to the community. Also for Thanksgiving, they are giving out packages. There is a registration to receive this package on Thanksgiving. On their website you can sign up. It is a great place the gives back to the neighborhood"
