"FOR NON BC CUNY STUDENTS: since you don’t have a BC login you can access WiFi only on the first floor of the library and only close to the main desk by the entrance via the “eduroam” connection (this is also true of the entire campus!). Hence it would be wise to come early or late to secure those desks close to the network range. This is also somewhat annoying because that area tends to be very noisy during peek hours (12-4pm). Besides that the library is beautiful and relatively less busy compared to the Baruch and Hunter libraries."
"Love this place! Its available to CUNY students and members of certain bk colleges like LIU, SFC, Pratt ... There are two rooms for quiet study -1st and 4th floor. Highly recommend!"
"The Library is one of the best parts of this school. unlike the other building which are ancient, and should be torn down for the good of humanity. The library is modern and well air conditioned. There is plenty of computers to use on every floor. Also, pretty quiet for studying."
"I pay $100 per year to become a friend of the library and gain access. It's an amazing place to study and do private work in a peaceful, clean, and quiet area. I'm an NYU alum, and this place beats Washington Square or Columbia. It also has a New England feel to it. If I had one complaint, a minor one because they have terrific computers, it would be for me to be able to use wifi in addition to current students."
