Though compact, our library is bustling with activity and offers a welcoming space for all.
Discover all that we have to offer! Our library provides a wide range of resources and services, including books, Wi-Fi, computers, and a variety of classes and programs designed to stimulate and entertain patrons of all ages. Join us for special events like the Fair Housing Film Screening: 'Segregated by Design' on Tuesday, August 27, from 2–3:30 PM. This powerful film, presented in collaboration with NYC Housing Preservation & Development (HPD), delves into the historical policies that have segregated metropolitan areas and the ongoing impact of these policies.
We are also proud to present "Understanding the Migratory Crisis: An Oral History of New Migrants in Lower Manhattan," a project that captures the experiences and expectations of recent immigrants to New York City.
Explore our wide array of free resources, including e-books, e-audiobooks, bestselling magazines, and streaming music, all accessible with your library card. "Disgusting security guard screaming they close in 7 min even thought it was 6:38.. also front desk claimed she couldn’t help log into the computer to print something out quick because they’re “about to close”"
"Really helpful staff and very clean and calming environment."
"It’s a good study space, except seating is limited and the bathrooms are horribly cared for and smells terrible. You need to get a key to access the restrooms, there is also barely any toilet paper. Not great, though a great location."
"I don't understand why some staff in libraries are too loud! Don't go here if you are trying to focus and you need a quiet place to work or to study!"
"Pros - There’s a computer space with 6 plugs - Beautiful artworks make it feel like a gallery - Clean and bright - Quite (at least the time when I visit) Cons - The chairs at computer area are too tall compared to its table. It’ll be much better to change those chairs. - Just 1 floor. Relatively few seats with plugs available - Not sure if it’s just for this branch, but I was told I wasn’t allowed to stay in children’s place without a child when I was trying to use a plug there"
