"The Only Decent Trade Card Shop in the heart of Manhattan from Mid Town to Hells Kitchen & they know it. The Prices here completely take advantage of that fact. Everything here is a 20-30% make up from market value! They take advantage of the Locals in the area to busy to travel around NYC or impatient to buy online waiting weeks for delivery and tourists visiting who can’t get a refund due to hobby shop policies. When remarking how much more fair the other TCG shops prices are the employees have on multiple occasions smirked and remarked “Than go to those other stores.” Well I do. Frequently. This shop is a running joke in the NYC TCG community for how it treats its customers like fools with it’s ridiculous up charges. It’s an insult to the intelligence of every self respecting and responsible hobby shop enthusiast. That is it for The Bad and only part of it don’t get me started on how none of the employees know of there own websites space rental policy for board game enjoyers or DnD Groups. Which shows it falsely advertises itself as a hobby shop where people come to meet & play besides TCG Tournaments! Now we can finally talk about The Good. Weekly tournaments for all kinds of TCG’s like One Piece & Magic Pods. Having a wide variety of card games outside the big 3 with games like Digimon & DBZ. Including sports cards. But that’s where the positives end. They have an unimpressive list of overpriced cards & card binders, like 10-30$ mark up minimum for cards you could order on TCGlist on the spot. They don’t buy cards! In conclusion It’s just not a good Trading Shop store to the People right now and it’s only been getting worse. Would stop by once a day before or after work to at least get one pack to make my day. When I saw the prices continuously hike up it killed my loyalty. From $.50 to $1:50 increases by the day let alone weeks when they increases boxes by 30-100’s due to the online markets while other shops keep prices relatively to where they bought them at! It’s an insult to be taken advantage of like this. Take your business somewhere your dollar and time is respected. Yes, every shop needs to make money but if this is the costs of doing business in this area change your location, cause it’s a slap to the face of our community keeping these predatory shops afloat!"

"If you somehow manage to find this store as a walk-in, keep on walking by. This place has some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a local comic shop, and that's saying something. They have a multitude of back issues that are apparently unavailable to look through, with no indication that they are off-limits to customers. I had already selected an issue from these boxes before I was informed they were off-limits and was harassed by multiple employees when attempting to purchase it. They clearly want to check pricing before they put them out, which is fine, but this was a $4 comic (according to the last sold eBay listing; photo attached). They refused to sell it and made me feel unwelcome, so I did not purchase my other selections. I've never heard of a business not wanting someone to pay them. Some friendly business advice: Try marking the employee-only section of your books appropriately to avoid any confusion in the future."

"Good selection of packs, boosters and boxes. Some singles and binders. Covers MTG, Pokémon and others. Some comic options as well. Space is limited, but staff were great and the people were friendly"

"I accompanied my daughter and nine year old grandson to Montasy. They had several shelves of individual cards as well as binders to look through. My grandson spent about 30 minutes looking through cards. He found a couple he liked, eventually selecting one. All the store employees were very courteous and treated him with respect. While trading cards are not my particular interest, I was very impressed with the layout, selection, orderliness of the store and the friendliness of the staff."
