About the Business
Welcome to the Arthur W. Diamond Law Library, located at 435 West 116th Street in the heart of Manhattan, New York. Renowned for having one of the finest collections of legal materials in the nation, our library is dedicated to serving the needs of Columbia Law School students, faculty, and affiliates.
During our ongoing renovation, we continue to offer essential services such as Circulation and Reference, as well as dedicated study spaces, conveniently located in the lobby of William and June Warren Hall. Columbia affiliates can request access to our extensive collection of legal materials through Pegasus or by emailing [email protected]. Once your materials are ready, you will receive a notification to pick them up from WJW 101.
Named in honor of Arthur W. Diamond, Class of 1926, the library houses a comprehensive collection of both print and digital legal resources. Our collection is particularly strong in U.S. law, as well as international, foreign, and comparative law, with a specialized section dedicated to Japanese law.
Our expert Reference Librarians, all of whom hold law degrees and graduate library science degrees, are available seven days a week to assist you with your research needs. We are proud to have Canick, an esteemed teacher, scholar, and lawyer, return to our library, where he began his career two decades ago as a reference librarian.
Discover the wealth of knowledge at the Arthur W. Diamond Law Library, where we are committed to supporting your legal research and academic endeavors.
