"The worship was a lot of fun and uplifting in this very charismatic church. This pastor is the next Joel Osteen, and the sermon was in Korean, but also, interpreted liberally into English with a good amount of the essence translating coherently. Words from the bible, like Jesus, bless, pray, and many more were often used throughout. Also, the praise band was very talented, and we all sang a ton of praises! Halleluiah! . I found this church in a directory of reformed churches, but as it turns out, this church doesn't follow a fundamental Calvanestic approach, but rather, a more progressive perspective has been adopted, with much of the gist of Christianity present. Let me qualify that statement: . Today's sermon was on evils that lead Christians astray, and I was glad to see that things like Self Love and YouTube were pointed out as sinful. I mean, I don't see the point in serving up something more than what the people want to hear, making the congregation uncomfortable and even risk a disconnect by drawing attention to numerous perverse sins that the bible calls abominations or something. There is no need for outdated fire-and-brimstone sermons of last century, as philosophy of interpretation of the Bible continues to evolve, becoming more lenient in allowing of taking of philosophical liberties and making necessary adjustments for current cultural and political climates. Jesus is for all times! Amen! . This approach makes believing in God easier for parishioners, and that's a good thing. Speaking of easy, many of the congregants carry no bible nor hymnal, since everything is on digital display! Can it get any easier? Halleluiah! Anyway, as the old Roman emperors would sometimes do, I'm giving this place a two enthusiastic thumbs up!"
