"Why....after they verify ALL of my information over the phone...why can't they simply tell me the PIN needed to access information on the website. They can tell me how much I owe and how much I've paid...but not my PIN. To get a PIN, I have to wait 5 days (or more) to get it in the mail. This makes absolutely NO sense."
"They mailed me an application and I filled it out and sent everything back to them. I recieved another letter saying I have to come in for the application to be given again, in person. I went there n had to refill everything out again a 3rd time. Everyone that works there is miserable even if u smile at them. The lady that I had to meet with was annoyed from the moment she greeted me. Was upset that I didnt know much about the process and was condescending on top of it. She GUARANTEED me that his employer would serve him. BEWARE - the employer sends them the paperwork but does not OFFICIALLY serve them. So he knew I went to court but he didnt go bc he knew he wouldn't be penalized. So have a friend serve the other parent to make sure u dont waste your time. I mustve asked the woman 4x if she was sure n she was (too bad she was 100% incorrect)."
"They don't have a number you can call directly. The women that sits you in the other room go through their spiel before you can ask a question. Be prepared for no help. And as always of course they have a cop in the lobby and their favorite answer is it will take 6 to 8 weeks to review. So if you think something is quick, think again."
"I went to the office in Jamaica Queens, New York and they are completely useless. They could care less about all of the mothers who are raising their children alone. They don’t want to help us mothers make sure that the Dead Beat fathers pay their child support. These low life’s who work for child support enforcement need to be fired as soon as possible. My ex husband is almost $12,000 in arrears and CSE has done nothing in the last year and a half to intercept his tax return. It’s a complete waste of time to even go there."
"Wow. This place is absolutely incredible! And I don’t mean that in a good way. I went to ask for a modification for an increase of the measley $25 a week they allow my child’s deadbeat to pay and to ask for the arrears (mind you he comes from a wealthy family) and they tell me he’s barely making it! He’s barely making it?! I’m barely making it! On top of that they said the extra $14 he’s paying a week is enough for him to have met his arrears. He’s getting paid half off the books, yet they fail to thoroughly investigate him and his full financials on top of leaving me to pay all medical and child care. I’m so appalled and saddened by this organization. He’s not even meeting the minimum requirement according to NY State child support guidelines for the amount he’s getting paid on the books. I agree with the other reviewer. This place allows deadbeats to get over on the system while our children are the ones suffering and they couldn’t care less. Such an atrocity and the state wonders why there are so many welfare cases!"
