"College Hunks was the company I used to remove unwanted furniture before our move. They were in time, very professional and courteous. What would have taken us hours to remove took less than 42 minutes. The money was worth spent. This is the 2nd experience with them and both were excellent. I will call them again when we move into our new home."

I liked that they listened to each bit of instructions and worked through it all in a quick and professional manner. Even when something needed more attention after working at the house, they made good on it and made sure I was completely satisfied. They also give an estimated cost of removal before they started and you can either continue with removal or not do it at all. I would recommend them if you have anything that you need removed from any part of your house."

"In the past 12 years, I have moved a total of 7 times personally, as well as overseeing multiple corporate moves throughout my career within the metropolitan area. This move with college hunks was hands down the easiest, smoothest move for me yet. I actually had down time that allowed me to luxury of sitting outside and sipping my coffee while their team loaded the truck. That was a first for me! Shak and Nick were friendly, extremely helpful, cautious, thoughtful and efficient when handling all of our belongings. The day we moved was extremely humid and they did not even complain once. We even received a hand written note from them after our move at our new address! This solidified the fact that we made the right choice when choosing College Hunks. From the moment I contacted and booked with College Hunks, they were extremely communicative, following up every couple of days to re-confirm the logistics of our move in order to ensure there were zero surprises on moving day. "Our move was on May 11th and I was waiting to write this to see how my broken furniture would be resolved. The movers broke the leg off of our gold antique foyer table and a piece off of our Pottery Barn bed frame. Most moving companies would fully comp the price of the broken furniture if you show them the receipts or pay for the insurance. I had signed up for the highly recommended insurance that would cover any broken furniture so I thought all was good. When I called about my broken furniture and asked why no one has called me about the claim we submitted, they asked for us to complete another claim. My first encounter following that phone call was with Tiffany, who had a rude tone and tried to get me off the phone as quick as possible. When asked if I should use the insurance they highly recommended she said the insurance would offer me less than $300. Tiffany offered me $300 for the table and told me that they wouldn't offer anything for the bedframe I paid $1790.13 four years ago. Well I wasn't happy with that and said I'll just go through insurance. She told me the insurance wouldn't cover the bedframe because "it's functional". That's like me backing into someone's car and leaving a huge dent, but saying to them oh your car is still drivable, sorry. When asked for at least $1000 for a move that cost over 2K, we settled at $500 because that's what I was told would be the highest they would go. Following that conversation I gave them a low star rating on their survey because I was offered pennies for our furniture that is still broken. Shortly after that rating a manager called and said I should have used the insurance, but it was too late because I signed a sheet accepting the $500. (That's on me for trusting Tiffany that insurance wouldn't pay more than $300 and settling) Then asked why I was still unhappy, I told them the honest truth again, I was given pennies for an antique foyer table and a Pottery Barn bed frame that was only 4 years old and in perfect condition before they moved it. My furniture is still broken and now I was told that I should of not settled for $500 and should of gone through insurance. They said okay we'll send someone over to collect the table so we can try and fix it using our furniture "guy". I got the table back today and the leg was glued back on using wood glue (See photos). It still shows a huge crack where it was broken, but I guess they would tell me "It's functional". I will not be using this company again and highly advise you to not use them. They are very unprofessional. If you are using them and they do break something don't trust anything they tell you over the phone and go through the insurance. This company is not trustworthy."
