"It is very easy to get here from Atlantic station. It takes 20 minutes. From here you can reach all terminals of JFK within 12 minutes. Contactless payment method is used for transportation payment. I can say that it is quite clean and tidy. There is a market where you can buy snacks. It makes it easier to reach the city both on the way to and from the city."
"The Airtrain is a convenient and affordable way to get to JFK airport. See the route map and train fares in my photo. The train travels outdoor with natural daylight."
"A very big station. Not impressive in design but plenty of space. Fairly easy to find where to go. Noted there is only one machine for the airport train to use debit/ credit cards. Queues were a little long for the airport tickets. Staff were extremely helpful."
"The AirTrain is a fairly quick and convenient way to get out of the JFK airport area and get to connections into other areas of NYC. You get to pass through the South Richmond neighborhood of Queens. Not an unpleasant experience at all. However, buying Metro Cards is a real hassle. The machines are archaic and confusing to use, and the the lines are horrendous. Really poor system."
"Really love this station! It is very sanitary, well lit and the directions are easy to understand. The air train price is a bit steep so a round trip to JFK is about $16. That is a lot and comparable to just take an Uber if there will be more than one person taking the trip. The Airtrain is on time and the first stop is terminal 8. You can take a shuttle to other terminals."
