"Cruel Security Guard - A Parent's Nightmare! Please avoid if using the transit as a parent! My recent trip to New York from was meant to be a memorable adventure for my toddlers, their first experience on public transit. Instead, it turned into a nightmare, all thanks to the appalling behavior of the transit security. As a mother of two small children, one of whom is a newborn, I expected at least a modicum of compassion when navigating the complexities of the transit system. I paid for our fares and kindly asked the security guard (African skinny man- not the chubby one) to allow my 2 year old to pass through the door with the stroller. Shockingly, this simple request was denied. What followed was a scene straight out of a horror story. I found myself separated from my toddler, stuck on opposite sides of the barrier. The panic I felt as I stood helpless, my newborn in my arms and my toddler crying on the other side, is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Despite my pleas, the security officer coldly refused to help, leaving me in a terrifying and utterly humiliating situation. It wasn't until a kind stranger intervened, lifting my child over the turnstile, that I was reunited with my little one. This experience left me deeply ashamed of how a mother with young children could be treated so poorly, especially after I had followed all the rules. I never imagined that something as simple as using public transit could become such a traumatic ordeal. The lack of basic humanity shown by the security staff is inexcusable, and it left a dark stain on what should have been a joyful experience."
