Reviews
"It's a nice hike. Parking can be troublesome and I would recommend going in the fall when the leaves are changing on the Palisades. The shuttle bus back is very nice but it doesn't let you off in the parking lot, it's a bit of an adventure walking back from the bus stop"
"Thoroughly enjoyed the bridge pathway, it's been on my list of things I wanted to do and I will return. From the parking lot to the end and back provides a good exercise, whether it be walking or biking, it's well worth the trip. It's clean and well maintained. A bit loud as cars go over the bridge and on a windy day it can be chilly but the views are spectacular, walking flat and easy to follow. There are no bathrooms on the bridge itself but there is before and after which are quite clean. There are lots of cameras on the bridge and security goes by on carts so it feels very safe. I definitely recommend it."
"When we were there a local bike shop was renting electric bikes right at the visitor center, very convenient, reasonable rates. We were able to cross the bridge and return in one hour including stopping at the viewing spots along the bridge"
"The parking lot was pretty empty on Friday afternoon. Great running or biking trail with stop points every half mile that have benches. No bathroom or water point once on the bridge."
