"Sugar Grove VFD is a volunteer fire department providing ambulance services and fire suppression services for Sugar Grove Twp and Sugar Grove Borough"
"I am eternally grateful to the people who responded to our emergency call on Feb. 4/16 I came home and unable to find my husband David Clark. Our grandson and I looked and listened. We found him outside in a ditch filled with water and could not get him out. We immediately called 911. The people at the fire dept. responded incredibly fast. David was transported by the ambulance to a helicopter who took him to Mercy Hospital in Buffalo N.Y. His body temp. was 84 when he arrived at Mercy. It is a miracle he is alive. He came home on Feb.6 with no frost bite or any effects from being in the cold water for approximately five hours. Everyone who was a part of Davids rescue played a large part in saving his life. There are many people who we have yet to thank. Our grandsons Gabriel & Spencer Wynn helped find David. They talked to 911 and stopped a passing vehicle whom helped get him out of the water, So many came to our rescue and we want to express our gratitude. Sometimes there is not enough words to express how thankful you are for all the love and support everyone has given us. We would also like to thank all the people who prayed for David. The prayers were with us and so was the Lord."
