"I wouldn't go anywhere else for physical therapy. The best around is PROActive in Waterville. Back in October of 2022, I had a blood clot push through my right frontal lobe, causing my left arm and leg to stop working completely for 18 hours total (later calling it an incomplete stroke or TIA). I experienced muscle weakness and damaged circulation. I was 27 years old and terrified. I called around to a few places in the area, and they told me they couldn't treat me. I called PROActive and they got me in the next day. I was introduced to my pt Austin. Who was very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. He made me feel confident that I would walk again independently one day. And thanks to him and the rest of the team at PROActive, I am walking. I started with a walker, then graduated to a cane by December. Now, I hardly use my cane as of today. I still have some work to do endurance wise, but my strength is completely restored. I could argue that I am stronger now than before this happened. Austin has been nothing short of amazing. He is a kind, passionate, and caring pt and person overall. Austin, Adam, Martha, and Mike are all wonderful. No matter what pt you have, you will get to know all of them, and they will treat you like family. Within no time, they will all know who you are and treat you as their own. They are super accommodating and flexible when it comes to scheduling. I give Austin all the credit when it comes to my recovery and healing process. I would not be where I am today without him. I am truly grateful for him and the whole team at PROActive.
