"Same thing happened to me. I fractured my shoulder any my GP recommended that I see an Ortho. I brought my own xrays and was given a prescription for physical therapy. I was told the consultation was $300.00. They billed my insurance company $4800.00 . When I questioned this they told me that that's how they bill, but it's for Fracture Care. And I'm responsible for $3200.00. WTF! I had one visit and one follow up. $4800.00????? NEVER go there."

"SCAM OFFICE .....one of the doctors at this office took it upon himself to approach me in the ER to tell me that my meniscus was torn ( already known ). He also took it upon himself to give me a shot of i dont even know what, into my knee which offered no pain relief at all. Long story short i was later billed by this office for $300!!. I had absolutly no idea this office didnt take my insurance which by the way is widely accepted everywhere. If id known this i would have NEVER even shaked the guys hand. I find it really hard to believe i owe this office money when i didnt ask to be seen by this particular doctor who didnt take my ins. and didnt take it upon himself to check what insurance i had . DO NOT PUT UR TRUST IN THESE PEOPLE"

"TOTALLY AGREED!! same thing happened to my mother, they bill for services that are not provided, when I tried to dispute the charges the physician refused. It is criminal and I'm sure there are others being scammed also. So sad."
