"Bad vibes all around. Reception is cranky and no one seems happy to be there. At my most recent appointment, Dr. Zaffer was combative and condescending about a medication I had been prescribed by another doctor. He questioned my intelligence and asked me why I wouldn’t just try a change in diet, as if I hadn’t already tried that before. When I saw him several years earlier he put me through a colonoscopy that I later discovered from a colorectal surgeon was completely unnecessary for the condition I was trying to resolve."

"I've had pain in my side since before 2018. I first went to a noethwell health GI doctor. First they tell me fatty liver. Never heard of this and they didn't explain what's what. Gets worse by 2020 and they tell me it's enlarged and to lose wait. Fatty liver. They kept changing doctors and I need consistency of care. So Imran Zaffer was recommended by my primary doctor. I get all the MRI and hospital tests. The usual. Zaffer gave no advice on what to do. Says liver is fatty. Can't remember he send me for a scan of my gallbladder. Has no answers yet I'm still in pain on my right side. He mentioned IBS and then says no. So today's office visit was an insurance money grab and my problem wasn't solved. Months with this guy. All a waste of my time. He's a quack and I would never use him again. He doesn't know what he is doing. Stay away."

What I found most impressive is that he did not automatically push medicines or medical procedures. Rather, he took the time to listen to my concerns and provided a holistic approach which included dietary and lifestyle suggestions. Many of which worked.
